We frequent first-class, deluxe and luxury lodgings that are in centrally historic district to give you opportunities to walk and explore with our guided tours and/or exploring during free time unlike "corporate" tour companies that often use bland hotels well out of the historic areas. All rooms have private baths but note that in Europe typical room size may be smaller than a typical room in US hotel.<img src="Comments_Images/COuntrySide.jpg" width="200" height="140" hspace="10" vspace="20" align="right" alt="custom private trip"></span></p> <p><span class="Headline">Custom Private Trips:</span> <span class="textstyle3">We use our 7 years experience and personal contacts on the ground to craft a unforgettable Spain or Portugal vacation based on your interest, taste and time for YOUR group of 2 to 102 persons. </span></p> <p><span class="Headline">Guided Small Group Trips:</span><span class="textstyle3"> Smallest groups in the business... maximum of 15... minimum of 6... allowing for more personalized service. Should a tour enroll fewer than the minimum, members may choose to pay a supplement (typically 10%-15% above the original tour price) in order to tour with fewer than 6 people.</span></p> <p><span class="Headline">MagicalSPAIN Trips typically include:</span> <span class="textstyle3">English-speaking guide service, tourist, first-class, deluxe hotels, paradors and pousadas; daily breakfast, lunch or dinner, taxes, select admissions, ground transport. hotels, breakfast and main meal most days, and local wine with meals, porter age, entrance fees and transport as per itinerary. NOT Included: International air and connecting flights, single room supplements, optional classes & services, customs fees, some meals, telephone charges, hard liquor, mini-bar charges, laundry, excess baggage charges, guide tips and medical expenses. Prices quoted are per person based on double occupancy. Single supplements apply. Single supplement guarantees privacy only. Prices may be adjusted for currency fluctuations.</span></p> <p><span class="Headline">Trip cancellation / travel insurance</span> <span class="textstyle3">is required and normally you must sign up within 7 days of making your deposit for pre-existing medical conditions to be covered. If you book less than 60 days before the tour, cancellation insurance must often be bought within two days after the tour is confirmed consult www.travelguard.com or your normal insurance company. Please advise us a to the policy that you select.</span></p> <p><span class="Headline">Tips:</span> <span class="textstyle3">Gratuities for waiters, baggage, porters, and hotel service are also included. It is customary but not required for participants to tip the tour leaders.</span> </p> <p><span class="Headline">Activity Level:</span><span class="textstyle3"> We offer trips normal people of all ages and energy levels. Good basic physical and mental health are needed to enjoy MagicalSPAIN's small group ours. Guest enjoy daily options for group and /or individual activities... typically we spend a few hours on our feet, the time divided among leisurely strolls through pedestrian-only centers of ancient towns and options to climb a few castle stairs. Medieval Spanish cities offer mostly over level ground, but often include some uneven or cobblestone terrain. The pace is leisurely, and includes time for our bilingual guides to describe what you are seeing, More active participants will have plenty of opportunities for higher levels of activity. If you have physical limitations please advise us ahead of time and on private trips we often can meet special needs.</span></p> <p><span class="Headline">Single Supplements:</span> <span class="textstyle3">Especially in Europe, single or private rooms are frequently smaller than double rooms, even though they cost more per person. Additional cost does not imply that private rooms in are of higher quality than doubles, only that they are private.</span></p> <p><span class="Headline">Shared Rooms:</span><span class="bodyText"> To avoid the single supplement charge, we will attempt to match you with a compatible roommate by request</span> </p> <p><span class="Headline">Special Events & Destination Weddings:</span> <span class="textstyle3">We use our 7 years experience and personal contacts on the ground to craft a unforgettable Spain or Portugal events based on your interest, taste and time for YOUR group of 10+ persons. </span></p> <p><span class="Headline">Deposits by Credit Card:</span> <span class="textstyle3">For Credit Card deposit payments we have a secure merchant account with PayPal which is the world's #1 online banking & payment service. USA-based PayPal is owned by eBAY and lets you pay anyone with an email address via a SECURE SERVER. With PayPal, you can send payments with your credit card and it is more secure than giving a check or your credit card number to a stranger. Signing up for a PayPal account is easy and takes a couple of minutes. Note in order to make a payment of over $1000 it is necessary that you "verify" your account and identity by registering a bank account. Go to www.paypal.com for more details.</span></p> <p><span class="Headline">Final Payment:</span> <span class="textstyle3">Final balance is due at least 60 days before your Spain trip or event by US check or money order. Nonpayment of your trip balance by the due date may be considered a reservation cancellation, and your space may be offered to the next person on our waiting list. A signed Release & Indemnity form is required also for partcipation in MagicalSpain trips or events. </span></p> <p><span class="Headline">Cost:</span> <span class="textstyle3">Price of land arrangements are assuming double occupancy and based on the Euro and may be subject to exchange rate fluctuations.</span></p> <p><span class="Headline">Cancellations Fees:</span> <br> <span class="textstyle3">Up to 61 days prior to departure date: no fees<br> 30 - 60 days prior to departure date: 60% <br> 15 - 29 days prior to departure date: 80% <br> 0 - 14 days prior to departure date: no refund </span></p> <p class="textstyle3">Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason including medical emergencies, family emergencies or weather. There are no refunds for arriving late, unused services or leaving early. </p> <p><span class="Headline">Commissions to Travel Agents</span>:<span class="textstyle3">Fully accredited travel agents receive commisions on our small group trips but only when pax are not already on our private mailing list. Custom and Private trips are net priced.</span></p> <p><span class="Headline">Good Faith Agreement:</span> <span class="textstyle3">In a good faith effort to insure a positive tour experience on small group trips, MagicalSPAIN, as per industry standard, reserves the right; to expel any individual without refund who, in our judgement, might substantially interfere with the general enjoyment or physical or mental well being of other tour members. We also reserve the right to modify tour itineraries for reasons beyond our control. We are not responsible for any additional expenses such as non-refundable Advance Purchase airline tickets. No refund can be made to anyone who doesn't complete any part of any tour. In the very unlikely event that any trip is canceled by Magical SPAIN, (we have cancelled 0 trips in 7 years:) your trip payment would be refunded in full from our US agent.</span></p> <p><span class="Headline">Responsibility:</span> <span class="textstyle3">Magical SPAIN cannot accept any responsibility for losses or additional expenses due to delay or changes in air or other services, sickness, weather, natural disasters, strikes, war, or other events beyond our control. We can not be responsible for loss of or damage to personal property or baggage or injury to persons during the tour.There are NO refunds for unused services. Photos of customers may be used for promotional purposes.
