Hola, ...we didn't set out to learn Spanish on my recent guided Spain trip, but we could have!.... My family of 5 enjoyed and learned so much, thanks to our guides and friendly tour manager Dan O'Beirne. From the moment we saw our driver waiting for us as we arrived bleary-eyed to the Barcelona airport, we relaxed and began to enjoy a vacation with the kids for the first time in years!... Memories?....Sleeping in castle hotels, Learning about and eating food & wine, learning so much with our private tours, exploring the olive oil mill and castles, the medieval legends, the wine tasting with the owner of the monastery winery and especially connecting and engaging our 3 kids in a fun educational way...Not an easy task:->...Thanks Dan, Ana, Beatriz,Diego, Carlos, Richard and others! Catalonia was facinating!.... Our highlight include:
MagicalSpain's local restaurant picks, Barcelona,
medieval villages, meeting locals, the spectacular Mediterranean
Costa Brava, w+ the fascinating Greek and Roman ruins....
Our escorted Barcelona time was memorable, pleasant, informative
and enjoyable!... loved the private Gaudi tour, fun yet professional
wine tasting and meeting the winemakers, who are working hard,
making great wine and enjoying life. The interactive cooking
lesson and dinner were, on reflection, a very nice way to
spend that evening and added a unique touch.....We'll be back
to Spain.... maybe to do El Camino de Santiago and Rioja wine
region in 2008! Gracias and kudos MagicalSpain!
