Dan began working the travel sector in 1992 in the USA
with Norwegian Cruise Lines, later working in Ireland,
Italy and Spain with VBT... Now starting his sixth year
in Spain, he enjoys medieval history, Catalan wines, extra-virgin
olive oils and real estate, collects Roman coins, old
maps and new recipes and is writing a book on Iberian
Food & History. |

I grew up
and have lived in Madrid for 28 years. As a consultant
in the food industry for 10 years, I have traveled Spain
exploring the country's different regions, culture and
food traditions. I have also studied and worked in the
U.S., France and England for eight years. I am married
to Jennifer, an American from Seattle (WA) who also
does tours of Madrid and other areas of Spain. I have
also led tours for Rick Steves' since 1999. Hasta pronto! |

also is a university professor, enjoys urban landscape
design, cooking Catalan dishes, nature hikes, flora, reading

spent 12 years living in Spain and over 17 years working
in active and cultural tourism in especially in Spain
and Morocco. James holds a Spanish degree and speaks English,
Spanish & French. He is a keen mountain biker, hill
walker, mountaineer & enjoys windsurfing too! |

has spent more time in Spain than Hemingway and is a writer
himself, chairman of the Wellington
History Society and consultant for the BBC. He delights
in sharing his wit and vast knowledge of history of old

A young Spanish lawer, Santiago discovered after a cold
rainy winter in London that Spain’s 3000+ hours
of yearly sunshine, cuisine and vibrant spirit were more
interesting than tax law and so returned. He has traveled
in Europe and the Americas loves showing off his English,
talking history and riding horses and eating Jamon Iberico
de Bellota. |

a American wife and has worked as a translator and active
and cultural tour guide for over 10 years. He is a walking
encyclopedia of Spanish culture and always knows the best

A native of Andalucia, Catalina has grown up in the tourism
industry here working first in her families hotel and
restaurant while in university and now assisting us with
destination wedding and event planning along with here
work in the film industry and theatre. |

Juan Carlos is a native of Madrid and professor at the
Universidad Complutense de Madrid in political science
and sociology. He is our favourite educational consultant
and is involved in numerous academic publications 2004
and educational initiatives and who knows... may be the
Karl Rowe or George Carvelle of Spain one day. |
